chilled beams halton ravenscroft batiment2Ravenscroft supplies a wide range of energy efficient Halton chilled beams renowned for their exceptional comfort. Halton's range of products include active and passive chilled beams as well as multiservice beams. Halton chilled beams are designed to provide flexibility, competitive life cycle costs and advanced comfort.

Halton chilled beams supplied by Ravenscroft can be customised to clients wishes, which include providing them in custom colours with minimal extra costs. Halton beams can also be integrated behind architectural features like bulkheads.

Traditional chilled beam installations include ventilation, cooling and heating next to the equipment for other ceiling based services. The customised multiservice chilled beam (MSCB) concept offers a all-in-one solution for all ceiling-mounted services and include air conditioning, lighting, electrical and data communications cabling and speakers. MSCB can also be fitted with energy efficient LED lightning.

This multiservice chilled beam concept is suitable for both suspended ceiling and exposed installations. When refurbishing an older building, the possibility of getting away with the suspended ceiling is often very attractive as this increases the ceiling height. Using MSCB is will enable this.

Sovereign House is an excellent example of exposed installation of multiservice chilled beams.

Refurbishing the Auckland office tower, 21 Queen St, with Halton active chilled beams proved to be a excellent choice. It made it possible for the client to raise the ceiling height and add additional office floors to be building.

Eliminating an old supply air riser allowed the client to turn the space into disabled toilet, which otherwise would have built in another area of the building reducing available floor space.

Fitting Halton chilled beams also proved to be even more energy saving decision that was originally estimated.

PROMOTE ENERGY EFFICIENCY, LAYOUT FLEXIBILITY, AND USER SATISFACTION

Green buildings are sound investments and good places to work. They promote wellbeing as well as long-term financial benefits like increased rents, longer contracts, and greater building valuations.

Halton Vario solution not only makes green buildings a reality, it makes them more energy efficient, more flexible to layout changes, and more comfortable to work in than ever before.

Halton Vario is a total indoor climate solution from ventilation products to controls for rooms, zones, and at the system level. Halton also verifies the performance of your system so you can be sure that your building's indoor climate is exactly as designed from day one.

REDUCE ENERGY CONSUMPTION BY UP TO 50%

Halton Vario solution is up to 50% more energy-efficient than conventional air-conditioning systems. For the first time in the history of chilled beam systems, the system monitors space usage, controlling and adjusting cooling and ventilation according to the demand. Thanks to the smart controls the indoor environment conditions are maintained at an optimal level.

RADICALLY LOWER CHURN COSTS WITH A FULLY FLEXIBLE SYSTEM

Applying Halton Vario solution office spaces can be converted in to a meeting (and vice versa) in 15 minutes or less. Airflow rate is automatically adjusted based on air quality and occupancy, and boosted when a meeting room is in use.

As a result, Halton Vario's ventilation system's churn costs are significantly lower than those of a traditional system. Advanced flexibility also makes short tenancy contracts more profitable for facility owners, and the layout of the building is no longer a limiting factor for building users.

HALTON VARIO FOR CATEGORY A INDOOR ENVIRONMENTS

Halton Vario controls ventilation and room air temperature demand-based. Halton Vario provides A class indoor environmental quality that is specified in regular cited international standards (ISO EN 7730EN 15251 and CR 1752).

Comfortable thermal conditions and indoor air quality create productive working conditions and users' complaints on indoor conditions are minimal. Satisfied tenants stay longer and increase tenant occupancy rates in real properties.

Halton services (Halton Validate and Survey services) guarantee operation prerequisites in installation and commissioning phases and finally adjust personalized indoor conditions in occupied buildings.

PROMOTE USER SATISFACTION WITH SUPERIOR INDOOR CLIMATE QUALITY

Thanks to Halton Vario's demand-based ventilation, your indoor environmental conditions will always be excellent, promoting the satisfaction and productivity of your building's users.

Halton passive chilled beams and low velocity displacement diffusers were used in University of Manchester's new Main Library to create an energy efficient and pleasant studying and working atmosphere.

Halton Multiservice Passive Beams, complete with built-in lighting that have Prismatic lens diffusers, is used in the interior of the building. Additionally, also non-beam lightning was used to create the required 350Lux light level.

Primary air is introduced via black painted Halton AFE type face plate Low Velocity Displacement Diffusers (nominal size 500 x 600, each supplying approximately 60l/s) around the perimeter.

There are radiator panels installed between the LVDV diffusers, which are behind the decorative facade in front of the LVDV units for the colder months. The radiators are designed to protect the fabric of the building and for start up for the areas that are not operating 24hrs.
